Queen’s Park Hold Media Conference Ahead of Rangers Cup Tie

0 0

Queen’s Park held a media conference this afternoon at The city Stadium, previewing our upcoming Scottish Gas Scottish Cup tie with Rangers on Sunday.

Head Coach Callum Davidson, Assistant Head Coach Barry Nicholson and goal keeper Calum Ferrie met the media and shared their thoughts ahead of the big game.

Although under dogs in many people’s eyes, Queen’s have an excellent cup record this season. As well as advancing to the 5th round of the Scottish Cup, we qualified out of the group stages of the League Cup for the first time narrowly losing out to Aberdeen in the knock out phase, and of course, have the final of the SPFL Trust Trophy against Livingston to look forward to next month – our first national cup final in 125 years.

Queen’s fans will be able to hear Callum’s Davidson’s thoughts on Sunday’s cup tie, and on the club’s activity in the recent transfer window, when he sits down with our media team tomorrow.

Excitement is building as we get closer to playing at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon. TICKETS are still available for Queen’s Park supporters, however all seats on QPSA transport are now sold out.

Supporters looking for a refreshment ahead of the big game should note Bar 1867 in the JB McAlpine Pavilion will be open from 12noon on Sunday with live football on screens allowing fans to gather and meet ahead of the trip across the city to face our Glasgow neighbours. QP Hospitality will serve free pies on the day.

A great day ahead – come on ye Queen’s!
