Very different body language last night towards the supporters. Engaging with us from when he came on. Asking us to raise the noise, celebrated with fans after his goal. Fists pumps at the end. Goals have done him the world of good. He’s fine.
I know someone who had a chat with him before the game last night. Gave him a hug and told him to keep wearing his heart on his sleeve even if it upsets a few. Stansfield thanked him and said he just wants to win more game, score more goals and do more himself to make that happen.
His turn on the edge of the box was superb just a shame he couldn’t get his shot off without being blocked. Great to see him with a one on one too, after a lovely through ball. Never in doubt he’d score
