NHL, NHLPA Reveal Plans For 4 Nations Face-Off Fan Festival In Boston
The NHL will take over City Hall Plaza in Boston for three days to celebrate the league’s 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.
The 4 Nations Face-Off Fan Village, presented by the NHL and NHLPA, will be a hockey-themed experience with many fun interactions. These include autograph sessions featuring NHL Alumni, myriad family-friendly hockey interactives, giveaways, food and music.
Fans attending the three-day festival, which begins Feb. 15, can take photos with the Stanley Cup and visit a Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit showcasing historic hockey artifacts from Canada, Finland, Sweden and the USA. Fans will also be able to view the 4 Nations Face-Off trophy on Feb. 16 and 17.
Bruins legend Tuukka Rask and Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Mike Richter will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with fans in the Fan Advantage Hall of Fans presented by Geico.
Other fan exhibits from a dozen vendors include the Discover “Puck Drop” Experience, which will feature a cutting-edge AI photo op. Fans will have the chance to virtually stand at center ice for the puck drop and take home a unique digital keepsake.
Fans won’t have to leave the festival to watch the broadcast of two of the tournament’s games. The first game will feature Finland vs. Sweden at 1 p.m. ET on Feb. 15, and the second will be the first game played at TD Garden, Canada vs. Finland, at 1 p.m. on Feb. 17.
The 4 Nations Face-Off Fan Village is open to the public from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET from Feb. 15 – Feb. 17.
Although tickets are not required to attend the event, backpacks, coolers, and larger bags are not permitted. For the most up-to-date schedule of fan events, appearances and reminders, fans should visit NHL.com/fanvillage.
