NFL Fans Clown Patriots’ Drake Maye After Pro Bowl Performance
The final performance of Drake Maye’s rookie campaign garnered mixed reviews.
Patriots fans salivated as Maye threw touchdowns to star wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Brian Thomas Jr. Other football fans, however, mocked the first-time Pro Bowler for the two touchdowns he threw to the opposing flag football team.
Cardinals safety Budda Baker intercepted Maye in the third quarter before Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy recorded a second pick-six against the Patriots signal-caller. Those scores, which sandwiched Maye’s two touchdown passes, helped the NFC earn a 76-63 win over the AFC in the Pro Bowl Games.
Social media, unsurprisingly, wasn’t too kind to Maye.

Maye didn’t seem too concerned with his Pro Bowl showing — and nor should he be. Chances are Maye will have plenty more opportunities to showcase his stuff at the Pro Bowl, though Patriots fans will get a look well before then.
