Re: Chris Wood
Bit of a moot question really as he's a very different player to Stansfield.
Wood is a very good centre forward - but I don't think he'd fit the system we play at all. It's why he's been so good this season - Nuno plays football that suits him. He's a bit like Juke circa 2018-20 in that regard - limited but play to his strengths and there's not much you can do to stop him.
He won't win it as it'll go to Slot but Nuno would be my shout for manager of the year. He's managed Forest very sensibly this season imo - knows the squad isn't going to outplay teams very often but has set them up to get the best out of what they have.
It's refreshing to watch, I just wish it wasn't effing Forest.
As someone else has said - shades of Ranieri at Leicester about Forest this season, albeit I'd bet my house on them not winning the league as Liverpool look to have it pretty much wrapped up.
