Projected Lines, Defensive Pairings For Bruins-Rangers Matchup
The Bruins play another Saturday matinee and in back-to-back weeks, will get another first look at a star forward on a new team.
Boston played spoiler last week when it handed the Avalanche a loss in Martin Necas’ Colorado debut. The Black and Gold hope to do the same again when J.T. Miller is expected to make his Rangers debut after the Vancouver Canucks traded the star forward to New York on Friday.
The Bruins could get Mark Kastelic back Saturday to help break their two-game losing streak heading into Saturday. The forward had been out with an upper-body injury since Jan. 20 and was optimistic about a return after participating in morning skate this week.
Hampus Lindholm continues to make strides toward a return. However, he is not expected to suit up against the Rangers. Jeremy Swayman is expected to get the nod in net for the B’s.
Puck drop at TD Garden for the Bruins-Rangers matchup is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
