Ford Final Five Facts: Bruins Can’t Contain Sabres Offense
When Mason Lohrei opened up scoring for the Bruins in the first period, no one would have guessed how the game would come to an end. While David Pastrnak was able to extend his point streak to eight games, the Sabres recorded two separate hat tricks off the sticks of JJ Peterka and Tage Thompson. The final score was 7-2.
Despite their loss to the Buffalo Sabres Tuesday night, the Bruins are still in possession of the first Wild Card spot. The Bruins’ need to either pick up their offense or improve their defense if they want to pick up crucial points against the Jets on Thursday.
