Team News: Glasgow City (H)

0 5

A return to league action sees Grant Scott make two changes to his Hibernian Women XI.

Following last weekend’s efficient Sky Sports Cup Semi-Final victory over Aberdeen, the girls turn their attention back towards the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League.

The in-form Hibees take on league leaders Glasgow City later today at Meadowbank Stadium, with the 4:10pm kick-off televised on BBC Alba.

Club captain Rachael Boyle is the first returnee to the starting line-up, replacing versatile defender Stacey Papadopoulos.

Our skipper was forced off by a slight knock versus Dundee United last Wednesday and stayed on the bench during our Semi-Final encounter, but returns to the pitch today without any concerns.

The second switch sees the reinstatement of Kathleen McGovern to the forward line, with winger Kirsty Morrison dropping to the bench.

Gov starts following her return to full fitness which has limited her to just one substitute appearance in 2025. She has scored 20 goals in just 19 matches this season so far.

Loanee goalkeeper Erin Clachers is ineligible against her parent club, therefore young shot-stopper Rowena Armitage is named on the bench.

Centre-back Poppy Lawson is the only other absentee.
