I get the impression that they’ll be thorough with their search and if they want anyone who is currently employed then they will have to negotiate that exit. That all takes time - 4 months seems reasonable to me.
The next CEO is likely to oversee the development of and the move to Wheels, alongside everything else. At £3 billion quid, you would be very particular with your selection. As you say, notice periods could be the big thing that slows it down.

The Wheels Park is the biggy here so i suspect someone with delivery of large scale Real Estate projects combined with general Corporate leadership skills would fit the bill. Ultimately when Knighthead do sell up it will be the real estate investment yield that makes the profit not just owning Blues.
