Match preview : Queen’s Park v Rangers – Sun 12 jan 25
A new era begins on Sunday as Queen’s Park play their first match of 2025. Rangers visit Ochilview Park in what will be Iain Robinson’s first match as Head Coach of The Spiders.
The Spiders come into the match fresh off the announcement of the new management team, and are looking to start the new year positively with a strong performance, in what will be a challenging test for the home side.
Rangers meanwhile come into Sunday’s match on the back of two consecutive defeats, and will be eager to start 2025 with a victory to return to winning ways.
Ahead of his debut in the dugout, Head Coach Iain Robinson said: “I’m looking forward to Sunday’s game and my first game in charge at Queen’s Park. The team have been excellent in training – David and I are hoping to see that carry on into tomorrow’s fixture.
“We are well aware of the quality that Rangers possess and the challenges that they will pose to us. However, we believe in the talent within our own squad, and we’ll set up in a way that will allow us to compete, and look to threaten when the right moments appear.”
