Texas high school football playoffs: Scores from state semifinals on Dec. 12-14
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Class 2A-6A teams vying for spots in the state championship games staged their semifinals Dec. 12-14 across Texas.
For teams in Central Texas, Wimberley fell to Waco La Vega 62-35 on Friday.
Westlake hammered Galena Park North Shore 35-10 in Katy to avenge losses the past two seasons to the Mustangs in the semifinals. The Chaparrals will take on North Crowley for the state championship at 7 p.m., Dec. 21 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Panthers took out defending champs Duncanville 36-34.
Vandegrift takes on Humble Summer Creek at 7 p.m. at McLane Stadium in Waco.
