What are the Rangers v Tottenham starting line ups

This will be the first competitive match between the two sides and could be hugely important in deciding if either side make it into the top eight and secures automatic qualification to the next round.

Tottenham fans were left somewhat surprised and delighted by the news of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven being named in the side for the 4-3 defeat against Chelsea, with both players having suffered fresh injuries.

Ange Postecoglou confirmed at Wednesday’s press conference that Romero and van de Ven would miss the match against Rangers with the club currently assessing the timeline of how long each defender will be out of action for.

With Ben Davies also out with a hamstring injury, the ongoing defensive problems means that Radu Dragusin remains the only fit senior central defender within the Tottenham first-team squad and it looks to continue to be the case for the remainder of the year.

Guglielmo Vicario, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert remain long-term absentees for the North Londoners.
