Tottenham Injury Update v Bournemouth: Ange admits player is still not 100%
Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League action on Thursday evening when they take on Bournemouth.
Tottenham’s injury problems have been a big issue
Tottenham’s injury list has been mounting in recent weeks with Ange Postecoglou also having to contend with the absence of striker Dominic Solanke in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Fulham.
Solanke missed the Fulham match after feeling unwell soon after reporting to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and was sent home to recover prior to kick-off.
Spurs’ inconsistent start to the season continues to be a huge frustration with the North Londoners failing to capitalise and move up the Premier League table.
Tottenham team news ahead of Bournemouth
Rodrigo Bentancur will serve the third of his seven-match suspension, while Wilson Odobert, Richarlison and Micky van de Ven continue to miss out through injury.
Postecoglou told Football.London: “Everyone from the weekend got through ok. “Archie got a knock but he’s recovered well. Dom is due to train today. He’s still not 100% but he’s much better. The other guys haven’t trained yet [with the group].
“[Romero is] due to have his last couple of sessions with the rehab guys today or tomorrow. We’re hoping that he’s back in training by Friday and at the latest early next week.”
Bournemouth vs Tottenham kicks off at 8:15pm UK time on Thursday with the match being televised live on Amazon Prime Video.
