Patriots Injury Report: Crisis Averted As Two Starters Return
The Patriots shouldn’t be sounding any alarms just yet.
New England caused some concern by keeping offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (shoulder) and defensive linemen Jaquelin Roy (neck), Deatrich Wise Jr. (foot) and Christian Barmore (non-injury) out of practice Wednesday, but two of those names returned just one day later.
Lowe — who has been a limited participant at best in recent weeks with ankle, abdomen and shoulder injuries — and Barmore — who is still being eased into the fold as he returns from blood clots — were back at practice Thursday.
The Patriots also saw two starters graduate from the injury report, with linebacker Christian Elliss (abdomen) and tight end Austin Hooper (neck) being removed entirely.
New England did add defensive lineman Davon Godchaux (back) to the report, listing him as a limited participant.
