Supporting Kirkcaldy Foodbank

0 2

As part of our ongoing Support Local initiative and continued support of Kirkcaldy Foodbank, every month we will be running a dedicated food collection campaign to help stock the shelves of the foodbank and provide vital support to local families in need.

Kirkcaldy Foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis.

The charity works in partnership with local agencies and organisations to provide food parcels and support services to individuals and families facing hardship.

We will have our first collection at Saturday’s (16th Nov) match vs Greenock Morton, and for November we are focusing on tinned goods to help feed those who need it most during the winter months.

Bring any canned goods you can donate to the top of the ramp on Saturday, and Supporters’ Liaison Officer, Craig Smith will be there to greet you.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.

With the festive season approaching, the demand for food parcels is expected to rise, and the Kirkcaldy Foodbank needs our support more than ever.

Many local families are facing difficult times, and the Foodbank provides a vital service, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.

This monthly foodbank collection is just one part of our broader Support Local campaign, which aims to uplift and support the Kirkcaldy area all year round.

Each month, we will be focusing on different categories of items to help ensure the Foodbank has a wide variety of supplies for those who need it.

We’ll keep you updated with when each monthly collection will be and what the focus is on.

Let’s continue to make Kirkcaldy a place where we all look out for each other.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and would like to thank you for helping us support local.
