Match Preview: Greenock Morton vs Queen’s Park

0 5

It's a quick return to action for the Spiders who make the short trip to Greenock to take on Dougie Imrie's Morton at Cappielow on Tuesday night.

On the back of Saturday’s defeat at home to Partick Thistle, Callum Davidson’s side head to Greenock looking to make amends for what was ultimately a frustrating afternoon at Hampden where despite having long spells of possession in the match, the failure to be clinical in front of goal ultimately resulted in all three points returning to Firhill with the visitors.

Ahead of the trip to Greenock the media team spoke to Callum Davidson and Dane Murray at Lochinch.

The season so far
Saturday’s defeat to Partick Thistle saw Queen’s run of seven unbeaten come to an end and the Spiders will be looking to kick start another run starting at Cappielow. Saturday’s result saw Queen’s slip down a place to fifth in the William Hill Champioship table, two places and five points ahead of Greenock Morton.

The Ton go into the game on the back of a very disappointing away defeat to Hamilton Accies on Saturday where a late seven minute hat-trick from Oli Shaw secured a 3-0 win for the home side.
