‘When You Watch Him Live’ – Sunderland Star Catches Eye Of Ex-Championship Player

Ex-EFL star Sam Parkin thinks that Sunderland left-back Dennis Cirkin has been one of the outstanding players in the Championship so far.

 

Cirkin came through the Tottenham Hotspur academy before joining Sunderland in 2021 and has 86 appearances for the Black Cats under his belt.

 

Under Regis Le Bris, he has been a regular starter for Sunderland this season and has featured in all nine league games for his team so far.

 

 

Parkin believes that Cirkin’s movement with the ball is eye-catching and pointed out that the Sunderland star is good at going forward and tracking back.

 

He thinks that the left-back’s on-the-ball decision-making has been top-class in the ongoing campaign and believes that he is one of the outstanding players of the division so far.

 

 

“I think he has been one of the most outstanding players in the division this season”, Parkin said on the Championship Check-In show.

 

“When you watch him live, he is a very good athlete.

 

 

“I think he gets up and down; it is eye-catching the way he moves with the ball, but his decision-making on the ball and his ability on the ball have been top-class this season.”

 

The 21-year-old left-back will be determined to help Sunderland get promoted to the Premier League this season.
