QPR Fans Forum 30th September

QPR1st, the Supporters Trust, wishes to thank the Club and the CEO for the professional, informative and positive Fans Forum held at Loftus Road on Monday 30 September.

We are heartened by the news of the extended contracts for Marti Cifuentes, Xavi Calm and Jake Clarke Salter, as well as the confirmed contract for Kader Dembele. We are also interested to note that the Club retains the services of Director of Performance Ben Williams on a consultative basis.

There was a lot of information imparted from around the club during the event, and it was great to hear from key club personnel such as QPR in the Community Trust CEO Andy Evans and Business Development Manager Neil Sayer.

We acknowledge developments at the club on and off the pitch. It is refreshing to hear from Christian Nourry the details of how a sustainable footballing strategy is being formed over time.

Hopefully at the next forum there will be more live interaction with the audience and fewer video presentations, and maybe an appearance from Marti himself! In addition we would like the chance to hear from Richard Reilly, the only major shareholder not to have participated in one of these events.

We look forward to learning of QPR’s plans for further dialogue with fans groups in the light of moves by the EFL in response to the Football Governance Bill.

We urge the Club to continue to communicate with fans as freely, regularly and openly as possible.
