Football Season Is Back, Swifties
Did everyone have a restful offseason? Are you feeling healthy and ready to go? I hope so, because for the next 18 weeks, we all need to be in tip-top shape: It’s Taylor Swift WAG Watch. Last night, the NFL season kicked off in Kansas City, where the Chiefs beat the Ravens 27-20. More importantly, Swift was there supporting Travis Kelce. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but they’re dating.
Both Swift and Kelce made bold outfit choices for the big night. As you can see in the photo above, the singer opted for a denim corset (cute!) with denim shorts (hmmm) and oxblood thigh-high boots (let me stay quiet). She styled all of this with a little side bang and a sort of chunky necklace. I’m trying to come up with who she looks like in this outfit, and the fact of the matter is that she really only looks like Taylor Swift going to the Chiefs season opener. For better or worse, no one can do it like her.
Kelce, on the other hand, has brought back his mustache. It’s more handlebar-y than it was last year, but I think it suits him. As for his look, I can’t really say it any better than this tweet already did:

As for the actual game, Swift watched from a suite with Kelce’s mom, Donna. (Brittany Mahomes was not in the suite … interesting.) Swift and Donna shared a hug when the tight end made a particularly impressive catch.

After the game, Swift and Kelce walked out hand in hand, the power of their outfits really maximized by putting them right next to each other. You know what, if they like it, I love it. That’s the attitude we all have to have if we want to make it through another season of Swift WAG Watch.
