Patriots Injury Report: Top Running Back Latest Addition

The Patriots look as though they'll be without at least one offensive starter heading into Sunday's season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.

It doesn't stop there, however.

New England made one addition to their injury report Thursday, revealing running back Antonio Gibson practiced in a limited capacity due to a hip injury. Sidy Sow, who was the starting left guard throughout the majority of the summer, remained the only non-participant with his ankle injury.

Vederian Lowe remained a limited participant in practice due to his abdomen injury. Chukwuma Okorafor has taken the majority of reps at left tackle in his absence, with Nick Leverett replacing Sow at guard.

The Patriots only had one defender who was limited, as linebacker Joshua Uche continued to sit out of certain periods with a foot injury. New England removed linebacker Christian Elliss (concussion) from the list while cornerback Jonathan Jones (hamstring) and linebacker Oshane Ximines (ankle) fully participated for the first time during the week.

The Patriots listed nine players total, all of which can be found here:

Cincinnati added wide receiver Tee Higgins (ankle) as a limited participation while wide receiver Jermaine Burton (toe) was a full participant.
