Red Sox Vs. Mets Lineups: Alex Cora Shuffles Order In Series Finale

The Red Sox look to salvage their first win in five tries Wednesday, as they meet the New York Mets in a series finale at Citi Field.

Boston manager Alex Cora will simplify things as he looks to help his club get on track.

Jarren Duran and Rafael Devers return to the top of the order, batting leadoff and second, respectively. Wilyer Abreu and Tyler O'Neil will be the protection, giving the Red Sox a pair of power bats in the three and four spots. Masataka Yoshida will bat fifth with Triston Casas in the six hole.

Connor Wong will replace Danny Jansen behind the dish, while Enmanuel Valdez and Nick Sogard round out the order as the double-play combination. Ceddanne Rafaela will get the night off.

The Sox and Mets are scheduled to take the field at Citi Field at 7:10 p.m. ET, and the action can be seen on NESN following an hour of pregame coverage. We've got the projected lineups here.
