Patriots Add Gigantic Offensive Tackle To Practice Squad

The New England Patriots made a gigantic addition to their offensive line.

New England on Tuesday signed offensive tackle Caleb Jones to the team's practice squad, the team announced. The 6-foot-9, 370-pound Jones initially signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad in 2022 before he was waived last week.

Jones played one special teams snap for the Packers in 2023. The Indiana product was active for two games.

The Patriots released defensive end Brevin Allen from the practice squad to open the spot for Jones. Allen spent training camp in New England before he was released ahead of the 53-man roster cutdown and re-signed to the practice squad.
