Sergio Reguilon will not get minutes at Spurs

It is clear that Reguilon is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans, with the Spaniard having spent last season out on loan and currently behind both Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies in the pecking order.

It came as a surprise when the 27-year-old remained at Tottenham past the 11 pm transfer deadline on Friday, throwing his prospects of game time into question.

The Spurs boss even sent a warning to the left-back, making it clear that he might not be integrated into the first-team if he decides to stay (The Standard).

Reguilon could still leave Tottenham

While the window has closed in most European countries, it remains open in some leagues, thus offering Reguilon a lifeline in his quest to find a new club.

AS have now claimed that teams from Portugal, Turkey and Saudi Arabia are all exploring a move for the Tottenham defender.

The report states that the 27-year-old wants to leave the North London side in search of a new challenge, with the former Real Madrid man said to be hoping for offers to arrive from the Saudi Pro League.

Spurs Web Opinion

I doubt Reguilon would have stayed at Spurs if his entourage were not confident that offers would arrive from the likes of Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

One would expect the Spaniard to seal a move away from N17 over the coming days.
