Federico Chiesa On Plane Flying To Complete Liverpool Move

Federico Chiesa is now on a private jet and en route to Liverpool to complete a move to the Reds.

 

Liverpool have reached an agreement on a fee with Juventus for the winger, who is inside the final year of his contract in Turin.

 

Barcelona also wanted Chiesa, but their financial issues have allowed Liverpool to push in and seal the deal.

 

 

Chiesa boarded a private plane at Turin airport just before 3pm Italian time and is now flying to Liverpool.

 

He is expected to touch down at Liverpool airport at around 3:45pm UK time.

 

 

Chiesa will then start the process of finalising his move to Liverpool, a process that will include a medical being undertaken.

 

Liverpool have kept alive to opportunities in the transfer window and view the Juventus winger as too good a chance to pass up on.

 

 

Chiesa has been linked with other Premier League sides this summer, including Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.

 

He will be Liverpool’s second signing of the summer after Giorgi Mamardashvili.
