Partnership With Epilepsy Scotland Continues To Grow

Queen’s Park are proud to announce that their already well-established partnership with Epilepsy Scotland, will be enhanced by a season long focus at the club.

Epilepsy Scotland is a charity close to the heart of many supporters who have raised funds for them through initiatives involving the Queen’s Park Supporters Association, The Queen’s Park Supporters Team and Queen’s Park FC in memory of Martin Kelly who sadly passed away in 2013.

This season the partnership will see Queen’s Park mark the 70th Anniversary of Epilepsy Scotland being formed in November with a special gift and presentation, with the club also displaying the name of the charity on Stadium Branding.

An Awareness Day is being held on Saturday, March 15 when Falkirk are the visitors, with a bucket collection being held beforehand, and the Queen’s Park first team warming up in T-shirts that will have been brought to life following a competition run by Epilepsy Scotland early in the New Year.

The partnership will be developed further through football coaching sessions, involving staff from the club and people from Epilepsy Scotland, which will be reciprocated by Awareness Training that is going to be made available to members of the Men’s First team and a number of Spiders supporters.

Queen’s Park’s Head of Commercial Kieran Koszary said: “I am delighted to announce that our already strong relationship with Epilepsy Scotland is going to be even stronger through the running of a number of events throughout the season.

“The club know that Epilepsy Scotland matters to the supporters and we are delighted to be in partnership with them.”
