West Ham Technical Director Presenting Boss With Alternatives To Favoured Target

West Ham United technical director Tim Steidten is offering Carlos Soler alternatives to Julen Lopetegui, but the Hammers boss insists on signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, according to ExWHUEmployee.

 

The Hammers have been in talks with PSG to secure a deal to sign the Spaniard ahead of the end of the transfer window on Friday night.

 

A deal has been lined up for West Ham to sign Soler on loan with an obligation to buy for a fee of €25m this summer.

 

 

However, deal has not been executed as West Ham need to sell players before the end of the transfer window.

 

Steidten is also looking at other midfield alternatives who would command lower wages than Soler.

 

 

The West Ham technical director is offering Lopetegui other options this summer.

 

However, the Hammers boss is a big fan of Soler and wants to take him to the London Stadium ahead of Friday’s deadline.

 

 

West Ham need to move on players to free up wages in order to add more players to their squad.

 

Kurt Zouma could go, while Nayef Aguerd is another player the Hammers want to move on.
