The Tottenham Hotspur fanbase is huge, but it just got a little bit bigger this weekend, after a famous rapper revealed the Lilywhites are his favourite football team. Now, the musician has been invited to visit the ground.

Lil Wayne is a Lilywhite

Among Tottenham‘s famous fans already, you can find iconic music artists such as Adele, Kendrick Lamar, and AJ Tracey. Throw in actors like Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, and John Cena, and you have quite the lineup of Lilywhite supporters.

Now, the latest to join that roster is none other than Lil Wayne. The legendary rapper, also known as Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, pledged his allegiance to Spurs over the weekend when he revealed he was watching Ange Postecoglou‘s men take on Everton.

In an Instagram Live video, Lil Wayne said: “I’m in the studio, I’m in here watching the Premier League. You already know my favourite team is Tottenham, I don’t know if you know about that but that is my favourite team.”

After picking up on the mention, the Spurs official social media team took to X to reach out to the rap star, tweeting: “Hey Lil Tunechi, when you coming to a game?”

Will Lil Wayne come to Tottenham?

Lil Wayne is yet to respond, at least publicly, so it is unclear whether he will actually make the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch a match in the future.

Who knows, maybe he will even book a concert at the stadium? He wouldn’t be the first musical superstar to grace the ground, after all.

Spurs Web Opinion

I used to like Lil Wayne’s music back in the day, though I’ve not listened to him for many, many years now. It’s always fun to find these new Spurs fans out there though.
