‘Plus I’ve Heard Leeds’ – Journalist Says Whites In For Premier League Player

0 3

Leeds United have renewed their interest in a Premier League player they came close to signing last summer, but face competition from two clubs in Serie A.

Daniel Farke is on a mission to boost his squad before the transfer window closes and the club are working hard to deliver new signings, with Largie Ramazani just having come in.

Adding a full-back is now on the agenda at Elland Road and Farke is looking towards a familiar face.

According to talkSPORT journalist Ian Abrahams, Leeds have now gone back for defender Max Aarons, who they tried to sign last summer.

Abrahams said on X: “My sources in Italy say a couple of clubs in Serie A are interested in signing him, plus I’ve heard Leeds have also renewed their interest.”

Leeds thought they had snapped up Aarons last summer only for the defender to snub a move to Elland Road at the last minute to sign for Bournemouth.

The Cherries are ready to move him on this summer and he is expected to move before the window closes.

It is unclear which options in Serie A the defender might have on his table, but the lure of heading to Elland Road could be too much to resist.
