Team News: Motherwell (A)

Grant Scott makes three changes to his starting XI for Hibs Women’s away SWPL fixture versus Motherwell this Sunday (25 August) afternoon.

Goalkeeper Erin Clachers makes her Hibernian debut in between the sticks, replacing American shot-stopper Noa Schumacher in the line-up. 

Schumacher kept two clean sheets in three competitive games to kick-off the new season, as Clachers sat out the opening fixtures as a precaution due to a knock.

The following two changes are the immediate reversal of the only switches made ahead of Wednesday’s 6-0 victory over Dundee United.

Michaela McAlonie and Kathleen McGovern both dropped to the bench on Wednesday evening – featuring from the bench as substitutes in the second half – but now return to the XI this afternoon. 

Despite their terrific goal scoring efforts against Dundee United, Linzi Taylor and Eilidh Adams – who replaced McAlonie and McGovern for the midweek game – are listed as substitutes today at K-Park.

Returning to the matchday squad today as a substitute is Kirsty Morrison. The forward had picked up a slight injury just before the SWPL season began and has now recovered. 

Ellis Notley will lead the Hibees out onto the K-Park pitch as captain.
