CLASS OF 2024-25 | MEET JOSEPH KPAKA

0 2

Joseph Kpaka is the seventh player to be promoted from the Dartford Academy by Ady Pennock for this season. And, the talented youngster is super excited by the prospect of helping his teammates challenge in the Isthmian Premier League…

“It’s a pleasure to sign for the First Team Chris. It’s a proud moment for me to join such a brilliant club.”

The 18-year-old is naturally left-footed and favours playing in the middle of the park. He intends on bringing a combination of hard work, creativity, and flair to the team in a bid to help the team get promoted back to where it belongs in the National League South.

Joseph brings a bit if experience with him too, having played for the Corinthians’ reserves team, as well as the Dartford Academy. Yet it’s the Darts that remain close to his heart…

“This club means a lot to me, especially with me growing up locally and coming through the Academy system. The likes of Ben and Leo have helped me develop my game massively.”

Now he has Ady and his coaching staff to help him develop further, as he bids to make the number 23 shirt his own on a permanent basis. How did Joseph find out that the Dartford boss wanted to sign him?

“I had a meeting Ady recently, and he said that he was impressed with what he’d seen throughout the last year, as well as during this pre-season. He said he’d like to offer me a deal, then told me that now I just need to keep my head down and work as hard as possible.”

And, that’s all anyone associated with the football wants to see from Joseph and his teammates this season. While, in return, the Dartford faithful will support them from the sidelines. Does Joseph have a message for the fans?

“I do Chris, yes. Stick by us this season, as me and the boys will give it our all. UTD! ????????
