Report reveals how much Spurs are willing to spend on Dominic Solanke

According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham Hotspur value Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke at less than £50m.

The report backs up what we have heard from various sources over the last week by stating that Tottenham are prioritising signing a new centre-forward, with Solanke now emerging as an option.

The North London club’s interest in the player is described as ‘genuine’ but they are thought to be unwilling to meet his £65m release clause.

It is revealed that Tottenham value Solanke at under £50m and are hoping to negotiate a favourable deal with the Cherries.

The report alleged that Ange Postecoglou’s men could present a bid lower than the release clause but offer the South Coast club good payment terms in the deal.

It remains to be seen whether Bournemouth would actually be open to accepting anything below their star striker’s release clause though.

According to the outlet, Solanke is keen on making a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs even open to cashing in on Richarlison to fund a move for the former Liverpool man.

Postecoglou made it clear that Spurs are short of options up front, which is why I highly doubt Tottenham will consider selling Richarlison.

Any new number nine who comes through the door would likely have to compete with the Brazilian rather than replace him in the squad.
