How Would Celtics Championship Team Perform At Olympics?

The Boston Celtics steamrolled through competition all season long to win the 2024 NBA Finals.

A star-studded roster headlined by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown delivered a championship with few moments of doubt throughout the campaign.

As the reigning NBA champions, the conversation about being the best in the world often spirals after titles are won in the NFL, NHL and MLB as well.

Is it valid?

In this case, ESPN's Brian Windhorst believes so.

Reporting from the Olympics in Paris, the longtime NBA reporter believes that this Celtics team would have a legitimate chance at defeating national teams for a gold medal.

"If the Boston Celtics were in this (Olympic) tournament, I think they'd have a very good chance to win it," Windhorst shared on "NBA Today" on Monday. "Obviously, they'd be pulling some players off of Team USA. The Boston Celtics coming together, considering what they do, I think they'd have a great chance to win it. I'm not going to back down from the Celtics calling themselves world champs. I don't think they should either."

The Celtics have a chance to reinvigorate their chances this season in pursuit of Banner 19 and back-to-back titles with their championship core.
