No, you’re not losing your mind, Tottenham Hotspur are playing Bayern Munich again just one week after facing the German giants in South Korea. Here are all the details on the match.

Tottenham’s unbeaten run in pre-season was brought to an end by Bayern Munich on Saturday, with the Lilywhites falling to a 2-1 defeat in Seoul.

A wonder strike from Pedro Porro was sadly not enough to get anything from the game for Ange Postecoglou‘s men, but they have a chance to get revenge already.

As part of the relationship between the two clubs, a rematch will be taking place this weekend, and here’s what you need to know.

When and where is the game?

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host the upcoming game on Saturday, August 10, 2024. The fixture is scheduled for a 5:30 pm kick-off.

This is the final pre-season game for Spurs before the league season gets underway on Monday, August 19 against Leicester City.

How to watch Spurs vs Bayern

You can watch Spurs vs Bayern on TNT Sports via Discovery+ if you have a subscription to the service.

The game will also be shown on SpursPlay, the dedicated Tottenham Hotspur platform where you can watch all friendly matches.

Team news

Tottenham currently have just three injuries to deal with, but Destiny Udogie and Richarlison are very close to returning to fitness.

Udogie is more likely to feature in the next game against Bayern Munich. Postecoglou told SpursPlay last week that the Italian was due to return in the ‘next few days’ but he missed the previous game against Bayern.

Richarlison may have to wait until the start of the Premier League season to be passed fit as he is thought to be slightly behind Udogie in the recovery process.

Meanwhile, Fraser Forster is still ruled out with no return date known at this point.

The only other player who could possibly be excluded from the game is Emerson Royal, though his supposed move to AC Milan is still not complete and he has featured in the last two games for Spurs despite intense speculation surrounding his future.

There is a chance Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Giovani Lo Celso will be involved at some point as their extended break due to Euro 2024 and Copa America comes to an end.

For Bayern, Spurs fans will be denied the chance to see Harry Kane return to North London as he is unavailable.

They will also be without Leroy Sane, Hiroki Ito, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Daniel Peretz, and Tarek Buchmann who are all injured. New signing Michael Olise is currently away on international duty for France at the Olympics.

The Spurs Web prediction

Bayern may have been by far the better team last time, but it was a close game in the end.

Hopefully, with the home crowd behind us, we can come out on top this time round and put ourselves back on track before the start of the season.
