SUPPORTER INFO: ST MIRREN (A)

Ahead of today's William Hill Premiership match with St Mirren, Hibernian supporters should familiarise themselves with the following information.

TRAVEL

The M8 motorway is closed between junctions 21 to 23 from Saturday 6pm until Sunday 1pm so all alternative routes will be busier than usual.  Please leave plenty of travel time when planning your journey.

TICKETING & ACCESSING STADIUM

The Hibernian section allocation for this match is sold out and Hibernian Supporters without tickets are requested not to travel to the stadium or the surrounding area.

Please check your ticket for the turnstiles that should be used because presentation at the wrong turnstiles will refuse admission and delay your access to the stadium.  Four turnstiles will be available for Hibernian Supporters within the North Stand.

With the game kicking off at 3pm, turnstiles will open at 2pm and you are advised to arrive early to avoid any queues at the turnstiles.

CATERING

Please note that payment for catering in the stadium is by contactless or cash payment. 

COACH PARKING

Free Away Car and Coach parking will be available on Clarke Street, located a short walk from the Stadium. Coaches should be aware of the low bridge on Greenhill Road (3m restriction).

There is no car parking on site for Hibernian supporters and care should be taken when parking in residential areas to ensure you are legally parked.

UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT

We remind all supporters that anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, caught throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, or bringing of bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken.  The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the Courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in Unacceptable Conduct.  Regardless, if we are home or away sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!

The use of pyrotechnics is a criminal offence and action will be taken against those caught in possession on the day and similarly, anyone identified through the post-match review of CCTV will face similar action sanctions by the Club. 

It’s been shown we do not need this at our matches to create an atmosphere. In addition to the toxic fumes that are emitted the disruption to the match is something on a football perspective that is not welcomed by the Football Department.    

The Club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from the communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.

Walkways should be kept clear, and you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match.  This is not only a ground regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a Club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, creed, and sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.

Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
