Injury Update: Bursik & Miller
David Gray provided an update on the fitness of Josef Bursik and Lewis Miller ahead of this weekend’s Premier Sports Cup game against Peterhead.
After the friendly against Watford, our Head Coach gave an update on the injured players at the Club and admitted that Bursik and Miller had been left out of that game as a precaution.
When speaking to Hibs TV ahead of Peterhead, he explained that the pair could return on Saturday.
“They’re both available. Watford was a training game, so we didn’t want to put them in a situation where they’d aggravate their knocks.
“Both are absolutely fine and will be in the squad. We’re all ready to go to make sure we deliver the result we want.”
Chris Cadden and Elie Youan are both unavailable through injury this weekend, but Gray has the rest of his squad to choose from.
