Leeds United Not Looking To Hijack Club’s Swoop For Defender

0 2

Leeds United are not making a late attempt to hijack one of their rivals key transfer deals, according to the Star.

The Whites have sanctioned a number of player sales this summer with Diego Llorente, Marc Roca, Archie Gray and Charlie Cresswell all leaving on a permanent basis.

Daniel Farke is now swinging into recruitment action and it has been suggested he could attempt to scupper Sheffield United’s swoop for Harrison Burrows.

The Blades have been working hard on a swoop for Burrows and have a deal in place with Peterborough United for the left-back.

A late hijack attempt from Leeds could have been a real worry at Bramall Lane.

It is not happening though as Leeds have made no move to sign Burrows.

Chris Wilder will hope things stay that way and the deal to sign Burrows can be quickly pushed over the line.

Wilder recently lost right-back Jayden Bogle to Leeds, with the player making clear his desire to head to Elland Road.
