‘FSG Sources’ Weigh In On Talks Resumed Claim Amid Liverpool Multi-club Model Desire

Liverpool’s owners FSG have not resumed talks aimed at taking control of French side Bordeaux,  according to journalist David Lynch.

 

The Reds’ American owners are looking to buy another club as they start their own multi-club model adventure.

 

They held detailed talks with Bordeaux and it looked as if they might be buying the French side, but then they pulled out of the reckoning.

 

 

It has since been suggested that talks between FSG and Bordeaux have resumed.

 

However, that talk is wide of the mark as ‘FSG sources’ have dismissed suggestions that talks are now back on.

 

 

While Liverpool’s owners are looking for another club to buy, it looks unlikely to be the French club.

 

Bordeaux are looking for a new owner amid financial concerns and a takeover on the part of FSG could have fitted the bill for the French club.

 

 

All eyes will be on what direction Liverpool’s owners take next and whether there is a slim possibility they revisit the Bordeaux option.
