Lloyd and Jacob sign for new season
WE are pleased to announce forward Lloyd Marsh-Hughes has re-signed and midfielder Jacob Barrett has joined.
Lloyd made 20 appearances in all competitions and scored two goals last season having joined during the summer of 2023 from Caernarfon Town.
He came through Chester’s Academy and made his first team debut against Curzon Ashton in the National League North in January 2019 before signing his first professional deal in April that year.
He made 30 senior appearances for Chester and had loan spells with Marine and Runcorn Linnets before joining Caernarfon, initially on loan in September 2022, before making the move permanently.
Jacob, who played at academy level for The New Saints and Connah’s Quay Nomads and also had a brief spell with us as a at the Bay.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season at Porthmadog, where he made eight appearances in the JD Cymru North.
He has also had spells with Mold Alexandra, Runcorn Town, Gresford Athletic and Denbigh Town.
