Welcome home Darts Women!

Dartford Women will play their home matches on the main pitch at Princes Park from the start of the 2024/2025 season.

After a successful season that saw them finish second in the league and win a County and League Cup double, the team has been brought back to the main stadium for the forthcoming season.  

Manager Martin McCarthy is delighted with the move.

He said: “It’s a huge honour for the girls to be back playing in the stadium this season.

“Playing at Princes Park is massive, not just for the ladies, but it also helps us as a management team attract better players that can help us fulfil the club’s ambitions.

“Last season, the team received huge plaudits for their success, and deservedly so. Their style of football, their unwavering mentality, and ultimately their professionalism, all stems from the new set-up at the club, and so the decision to see the ladies playing in the stadium this season will give supporters who watch the men’s team, the opportunity to experience the women’s game, too.

“From day one, the team has understood that their immediate success will help attendances grow and the last 12 months have proved this. Their work in the community and in driving the growth in women’s football in the area, is helping this too and is a testament to their determination. 

“By being back in the stadium, we believe attendances will continue to grow and so we hope to welcome many new Dartford supporters to experience our football next season and join us on our exciting journey.”
