The level of pride that must follow joining a club of Liverpool’s calibre must surely only be beaten by the heartbreak of departing.
For Adam Lewis, the journey has officially ended after 19 years spent with the Reds from the
Stars past and present, many being fellow Academy prospects (including the likes of Luke Chambers and Kaide Gordon), flocked to the comments to wish the fullback well in his new ventures.
Former Liverpool youth boss Steven Gerrard left the following message on the 24-year-old’s socials: “All the best mate.”
The defender now joins League Two outfit Morecambe, following the end of his contract, ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
