Charlton Athletic Hunting Central Midfielder

Charlton Athletic are still on the hunt for a central midfielder to add to Nathan Jones’ squad this summer, according to the South London Press.

 

The Addicks have been busy with additions and Jones recently revealed that when the transfer window closes he wants to have nine new faces through the door.

 

Charlton have already signed Will Mannion, Alex Mitchell, Josh Edwards, Luke Berry and most recently Matty Godden.

 

 

Ipswich Town attacker Gassan Ahadme is also set to link up with the Addicks.

 

Despite the flurry of activity, Charlton are still looking to bring in a central midfielder this summer.

 

 

There is not yet any sign though that George Dobson will return to the Valley.

 

Charlton open their League One campaign by heading to Wigan Athletic, a match that is then followed by an EFL Cup clash against Birmingham City.

 

 

The Addicks’ first home league game of the campaign comes against Leyton Orient in the middle of August.
