S13E66 Euro 2024: The Morning After the Night Before – Germany

The moment we’ve all been waiting for since the Euro 2024 draw was made. Germany v Scotland, the opening game in Munich, the whole world watching, the Tartan Army in full voice – and Scotland didn’t turn up!

John B, Josh and author Neil Doherty face the music from their respective locations within Munich to disect on what went wrong as the Germans turned on a fine display against a Scotland side who looked as spooked as rabbits in the headlights. They also look back at what it was like before the horror show in the Allianz Arena and we try to look forward to the Switzerland game, which remains the biggest match in the group. Is our tournament over after one match or can we still make history and get through to the knockout stages? What’s certain is that we need to play a damn sight better than we did in Munich!!
