Southampton In ‘Formal Negotiations’ To Land Promising Attacker

Southampton are in ‘formal negotiations’ with Argentinian outfit Union Santa Fe for the signature of teenage attacker Jeronimo Domina this summer.

 

With Premier League promotion secured, Saints are now looking to attack the market and reinforce Russell Martin’s squad.

 

Southampton are looking at experienced options for the Premier League but the club are also alive to the possibility of bringing in young talent.

 

 

And according to Argentinian journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, the club are making a real push to sign 18-year-old attacker Domina from Union Santa Fe.

 

He has been closely scouted by Saints and the club are now confident enough about his talent to pursue his signature.

 

 

Talks are ongoing between the two clubs and Union Santa Fe have already rejected an initial offer from Southampton.

 

Saints are pushing on to try and reach an agreement and negotiations have continued between the two teams.

 

 

The teenager has already made 46 appearances for Union Sana Fe and has been part of Argentina’s Under-20 set-up.
