2nd vs 3rd biggest budget.
Summerville vs Armstrong
Rutter vs Adams
Meslier vs McCarthy
Farke vs Martin 3.
Bit of a personal edge for those 2 with Martin feeling Farke handled his departure from Norwich badly.
Farke wanting to put the last 2 vs Southampton right.
Both managers knowing (as Martin has admitted) that not getting promotion could be seen as underachieving.
Both teams struggling for form coming into the playoffs but easily dispatching of 5th and 6th.
Both teams favouring a possession based style, will one sit in or press?
In a one off game can you really afford to sit back and invite pressure?
Will Flynn Downes make it? His fitness seems on a knife edge.
Will Bamford be fit enough for the bench?
Southampton have changed the tactical setup both games this season vs us and its worked, will DF be ready?
Or will we just try and impose our game? Is that the right approach in an all or nothing game?
Seemed to be a better attacking plan vs Norwich, a better attacking structure through midfield with the spaces and the positioning of the cms and Georgie and JP, a braver approach dare I say, is this what we will see vs Southampton?
Confidence should be high in our team after one of if not our best performance of the season last match, Rutter, Piroe, Summerville and Gnonto had the mojo back.
Would it be a shock to see any changes?
