Chris Cadden spoke to Hibs TV ahead of our cinch Premiership game against Aberdeen on Sunday 12 May.

It’s a big week ahead for the Hibees - with three games in the space of eight days - to bring to an end the 2023/24 campaign.

Despite a disappointing season, Cadden highlighted the importance of finishing on a high.

“We’ve had a tough week of training whilst having the extra day to prepare with the game being on the Sunday.

“The Gaffer has told us how big a week it is for us with three games to go at the end of the season and we want to end on a high.

“We know how important these next few games are, starting on Sunday. We need to start on the front foot and take the game to Aberdeen.

“We know it’ll be a tough match as Aberdeen are a good side with some good players, but we need to get the ball to our danger men and then go from there.”

The 27-year-old picked up an Achilles injury in the Edinburgh derby at the end of last season which has kept him out of action for nearly nine months.

Cadds made his long awaited return to action in February in a 3-1 victory over Inverness in the Scottish Cup. The right-back has since gone on to make nine appearances (all comps).

“I’m really glad I’m back playing for Hibs. It was a difficult period when I was out, so I’m cherishing every minute of it and just want to play as many games before the end of the season.

“I’ve absolutely loved being back playing, I am just gutted the season is coming to an end with just a week left - I feel like I’m just getting started."
