‘He will go’ – Journalist says Spurs will cash in if they receive a ‘decent offer’ for player

Dean Jones has become the latest journalist to talk up the chances of Richarlison exiting Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Even though Richarlison boasts of an excellent games-to-goals ratio this season, having found the back of the net 11 times in the Premier League, the striker is being linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was reported by The Telegraph last week that the Brazilian could be one of the players sacrificed this summer as Spurs oversee a major squad overall this summer.

A couple of days ago, Graeme Bailey told TBRFootball that the 26-year-old is attracting interest from newly promoted Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadisiyah.

It was even asserted by The Athletic on Wednesday that Saudi Pro League clubs would be willing to match the £60m fee that the Lilywhites paid to sign the forward from Everton two years ago.

Spurs could sell Richarlison this summer

Jones believes that Richarlison will be on his way out of Hotspur Way this summer if Spurs receive a sufficiently large offer for him.

He has now told Ranks FC Ultras Podcast about Tottenham’s summer plans: “A new number nine is possible, Richarlison will be targeted by the Saudis this summer, and if it’s a decent offer he will go.”

Spurs Web Opinion

The fact that so many journalists are now reporting this information suggests that there is plenty of truth to it. The big question is whether Richarlison would be open to moving to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career.
