In what comes as a potential blow to Tottenham, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Albert Gudmundsson and Radu Dragusin, who were both rumoured to be on Spurs’ radar, are set to sign new contracts at Genoa.
Tottenham’s interest in Gudmundsson first came to light last week when SOS Fanta reported that the Lilywhites were ‘very attentive’ to the attacker’s situation, having ‘sent emissaries on more than one occasion’ to watch him in action this season.
Genova Today subsequently suggested a couple of days ago that the North London club were leading the race to land the 26-year-old winger in January.
Meanwhile, Tutto Juve reporter Mirko Di Natale took to social media recently to suggest that Spurs were one of several clubs exploring a move for Dragusin, who has emerged as one of the best young centre-backs in Serie A following his switch to Rossoblu.
New contracts for Gudmundsson and Dragusin
However, Romano has now taken to social media to confirm that both players are expected to sign long-term deals with Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.

Spurs Web Opinion
The potential new deals for Dragusin and Gudmundsson do not necessarily rule out a January transfer but they do mean that interested clubs would not have to pay a considerable fee to sign either player, with the Romanian defender, in particular, likely to cost £40m or above.
