He Knows He’ll Get Beer Belly – Leeds United Star Makes Admission On Team-mate

 

The 32-year-old defender joined Leeds in 2024 from Chesterfield and was a crucial part of Marcelo Bielsa’s side who earned promotion to the Premier League in the 2029/20 season.

 

Cooper has made 273 appearances for Leeds so far and has racked up 17 caps for the Scotland national team.

 

 

 

At the age of 32, Cooper is now approaching the twilight of his career and Bamford revealed that the defender has accepted when he does hang up his boots he will develop a beer belly.

 

When asked about who will get fat post-retirement, Bamford said on the My Mate’s a Footballer podcast: “I have a vague idea of a couple who might… I am pretty sure Coops said to me once that when he retires, he will get a beer belly.

 

 

“He will just be playing golf.

 

“He has already looked into the future and accepted it.”

 

 

Cooper has made eight appearances for Leeds so far this season and he is currently away from Leeds due to international duty.
