WICHITA, Kan. – For his efforts in helping the Friends University Falcons start the KCAC season on a high note, freshman forward Sora Shibata has been named the KCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today (Sept. 19).
"This is a well-deserved recognition," said Friends men's soccer head coach Bryan Perez. "He played an excellent game not only offensively but defensively. I'm very happy for him."

The Tokyo, Japan native scored two goals, which proved to be the difference in the one-goal victory for the Falcons.
Shibata is now second on the Falcons with three goals for the 2022 campaign.
The Falcons will next be at Avila University Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 21) starting at 4 pm in Kansas City, Mo
