Queen’s Park FC in association with partners Laurie Ross are running a competition asking youngsters to design the front of a Christmas card – which will be the official card both for the football club and also for insurance brokers, Laurie Ross.
The theme is “Christmas in the Southside” and children are being asked to demonstrate how they imagine the festive season will look. Forms are being sent out to all local schools over the next few days, and they are also available from the club offices at Lesser Hampden and from the Laurie Ross Branch at 37 Carmunnock Road, Mount Florida.
The closing date for entries will be Friday, December 10th and entries should be dropped off at Laurie Ross Branch in Mount Florida.
The winning entry will receive a £50 Hamleys toy store voucher as well as a Queen’s Park goodie bag including a full strip, and a £100 Voucher for family meal in town centre restaurant and taxi will be provided.
The teacher of the winning pupil will also receive a Jo Malone gift bag.
All entries will be displayed on the windows of Laurie Ross branch, Mount Florida.
Kieran Koszary, Head of Commercial at Queen’s Park, said: “Following on from our Tickets for School initiative which has been a fantastic success to date, we are delighted to again be working with local pupils to give them a chance to win a fantastic prize for themselves and their family. We are looking forward to the entries arriving and I am sure the standard and creativity shown will be excellent.”
June Lynch, Managing Director, Laurie Ross said: “As a community insurance broker, we are very excited to be partnering with Queens Park FC and our local Southside schools for this fantastic Christmas Card Competition. Good luck to everyone who enters”
